COVER GALLERY Help Magazine issue #12v1
Cover date: September 1961 50 pages
Cover subject Will Jordon (Special Note on this cover and it’s cover date. In the upper left hand corner of most copies feature a black bar covering over the month JULY, and on the upper right hand side of the cover SEPT is overprinted. There is another example of a Warren magazine with a similar cover overprint. SPACEMEN #8, the last issue of that publication, has the month overprinted with a black bar, and a new date of JUNE is printed in the lower part of the second letter E in the title SPACEMEN.

Why this was done has never been printed in the history of Warren magazines, it can only be speculated that since the covers were printed ahead of time, and the newsstand release may have slipped, they changed the cover dates so the magazine would be left on the newsstand longer if the dates had not been changed. But the real reason may not be known until Jim Warren is interviewed about
this subject.)
